How to Use

1. Set Up Players: On the home screen, tap "New Game". Add your players and type their names.
2. Configure Rules: Toggle game-specific rules for your session:
   • Timed Rounds: Enable a countdown timer per round to keep the game moving.
   • Track Phases: Perfect for games like Phase 10, Sequence, or Rummy where players progress through distinct phases.
   • Stop Score: Enter a target score. The game will automatically end and declare a winner when a player crosses it (supports highest- or lowest-score wins).
3. Keep Score: After each round, tap "Enter Scores" and log points for each player. The scoreboard shows running totals, round logs, and current ranks.
4. History & Autosave: Close the app or lock your device without worry. Active games are saved automatically and can be resumed from the main list. Past games are preserved in your history.

Common Questions

Does the app work without an internet connection?

Yes. Gamenight Scoreboard is 100% offline. It runs completely on your device and does not require an active internet connection or cellular data.

Are my games and players synced to other devices?

No. All data is saved locally on your iPhone or iPad using Apple's SwiftData framework. It does not sync to a central server.

Which devices are supported?

Gamenight Scoreboard requires iOS 17 or later. It runs natively on both iPhone and iPad.

How do I delete a game or player?

Swipe left on a game in your history list to delete it. To remove a player during new game setup, tap the minus icon next to their name.
