Imposter is a pass-and-play party game for iPhone and iPad. Gather a group, pick a number of imposters, and try to figure out who doesn't know the secret word.

How to Play

1. Enter the names of everyone playing (3 or more works best).
2. Choose how many imposters there should be.
3. Pass the device around. Each player taps their name and long-presses to reveal whether they are an imposter and, if not, the secret word. Release to hide it again.
4. Once everyone has seen their role, the app picks a random player to start. Discuss, ask questions, and try to spot the imposters.
5. When you're ready, reveal the imposters and start a new round.

Common Questions

Does Imposter work without an internet connection?

Yes. The app is fully offline and does not require a network connection.

Are my player names or game data saved?

No. Names and settings stay in memory only during the current session and are discarded when you close the app or start a new game.

Which devices are supported?

Imposter runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or later.

How do I report a bug?

Send an email to ben.wyrosdick@gmail.com with a short description of what happened, the device you're using, and the iOS version if you know it.
